Zhang Guangrui
Director and Research Fellow of the Tourism Research Centre, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and Professor and PhD student supervisor of the CASS Graduate School. After a decade of working in the travel business, Professor Zhang has become a full-time tourism researcher in the Institute of Finance & Trade Economics, CASS since 1981. He stayed in the University of Surrey, UK as a visiting scholar during 1984-1986, and worked as a senior research fellow in the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management, HK Polytechnic University during 1999-2000. In the field of hotel studies, he is the author of HOTEL WORLD & WORLD HOTEL, and HANDBOOK OF HOTEL PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH among many other journal papers. Prof. Zhang has been a member of international advisory board and referee of some tourism academic journals such as Tourism Management (UK) and Tourism Recreation Research (India).
