山东诸城人

学习经历:
1981年入天津南开大学学习，获南开大学文学学士、管理学硕士和经济学博士，曾赴美国夏威夷大学旅游管理学院研修一年。

工作经历:
先后执教于南开大学和北京第二外国语学院（中国旅游学院），现任北京第二外国语学院教授、院长、同时兼任教育部高等学校工高管理类学科教学指导委员会旅游学科组组长、中国旅游协会常务理事和Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research 编委等职务。

主要作品：
为旅游企业管理和旅游市场营销，先后出版专著、教材和译著十余部，发表学术论文数十篇，主要作品有《旅行社管理》（1997年）、《旅行社经营管理》（1999年）、《旅行社管理比较研究》（2000年）和《旅游企业跨国经营战略研究》（2001）等。

Dujiang was born in Shandong zhucheng.

Scholastic Background
Du Jiang is a professor of tourism management and the president of Beijing Second Foreign Language University (which is also China Tourism University ). He received his Ph.D at Nankai University, Tianjin and has held faculty positions there.

Job Functions
He has been a visiting scholar at the School of Travel Industry Management, University of Hawaii. His main research and teaching interest focuses on tourism business management and travel and tourism marketing.

He is a member of various professional and educational commissions and serves on the editorial board of the Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research.

Mostly Writing
He has published 18 books and more than 40 articles. His most recent books include A Comparative Study of Travel Operations Management and Strategies of Transnational Operation of Tourism Enterprises.
